I've never been a sporty kid. Actually, I hated all sports, especially group sports, gymnastics, rope climbing, running, and anything and everything. Throughout my childhood, I hated all the PE sessions, no matter what we did, and tried to avoid them as much as possible. With pretended belly aches, fake limping, headache, sore tooth - you name it....

The scenario that happens almost every time: a client has a new website, and everyone is excited, but they can't find it on Google! Not even on page five! Panic starts... Why is that?!? People ask in horror and disappointment...

Approaching someone and asking them to build your website can be daunting. Even more overwhelming? Choosing who to work with from what feels like a million options — freelancers, agencies, all looking sleek, professional, promising the moon.

Little did I know that one day, I would be reviewing one of my own creations. But life has a mysterious way of surprising us. After being a devoted dog mum since I was 13, I became a cat mum almost a year ago – and it's been a journey.

Yesterday, I had an urge to go for a cold swim. Since it was fairly warm outside (around 20°C), I assumed the lake water would be fresh but not too cold. The place was empty when I arrived, and the water was beautifully clear. Small waves chase each other on the surface, and sparrows fly closer to the water to catch their early dinner....

When I started my first dog grooming business in 2000, branding wasn't even a word in my vocabulary. I had a name — Vita Canis — and that was about it. No colour palette, no ideal client, no visual strategy. Just me, a dream, and a pencil.
